Welcome to the October newsletter. How can there only be 65 days left of 2019. WHAT!!! This year has flown by and with the colder months on its way, its time to slow things down, and do simple pleasures, nights in or out with friends, spending time with loved ones, reading more, cooking hearty meals and doing as much yoga as you can to keep the mind and body in check.
Nature at this time of the year teaches us to go inward, reflect, reconnect and reorganise our energy. Its a beautiful time of the year and its important to stay nourished, warm and rested, so even when the weather is not so great outside, you still feel wonderful.
When choosing to align mind and body, we are choosing to be more conscious of ourselves and the world around us. My yoga practise teaches me to sit with lifes' ups and downs, process it, and to make self affirming choices. I can choose to be inspired, curious, fearless and grow into a more balanced person or choose to live a life of regrets and unhappiness. I will always remain a student as there is always room for further study and personal growth.
I will be including a new detox and revive workshop soon, in addition to a restorative workshop for the new year. Details to follow soon.
