Greetings Welcome to this edition of my monthly newsletter, this version has a few extras like a tasty seasonal recipe and a suggested book on mindfulness. For the newest subscribers, you belong here, welcome. September is a great time of year where we still get beautiful blue skies and hot afternoons. To me, it symbolises the transitions ahead and with back to school time energy in flow, the transitions can provide an opportunity to return, refocus, rejuvenate, and start again. Remember self care and self love are crucial to your physical, spiritual, and mental well-being.
I will be offering videos on my website soon to guide and inspire your home yoga practice. In the meantime I encourage you to buy your own mat if you dont have one and
to start a home practise. Remember to start where you are and do 5 min, which will turn into 5 minutes more.
Beginning can be the hardest part.
This is great for the cold days soon to here, its delicious and very nutritious with carrots, ginger, garlic and curry powder. A great big dollop of chilli coriander pesto gives the soup a nice kick. Ginger is a superfood and like turmeric and cardamom, ginger contains the compound gingerol, a natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.
Really good for you and very very yummy..
This is a easy introduction to mindfulness, it has simple exercises that will help us with our busy lifestyle and wandering minds.
A good start your meditation practise.
The gurus say if you dont have time to meditate you should meditate twice a day.
I will be also offering new mats, yoga apparel, workshops, day retreats and yoga lifestyle tips soon on my website so please do check regularly.
Finally, as always I'm feeling very grateful for the wonderful yoga community that I've come to know and love. We are in a new season, with new beginnings and new goals. If you want to share those with me, please email me here
Thank you without end to all my loyal supporters. There's so much to look forward to. See you on your mat. Namaste
